What the Entire Pack is Doing Together...

A New Year

posted Aug 28, 2014, 7:33 PM by Sam Byrd

Wow, it's been almost a year since I've updated the website.  Means I must need a webmaster to do that for me!  We had a successful "Join Scouting Night" this evening.  We welcomed 18 new cubs into the Pack and talked with several more families that may be joining us.

We'll be holding an open house of sorts this coming Tuesday.  We may break out the Pinewood Derby track or something to have fun.

On Monday, September 8 at 6pm we have our official 1st meeting.  Max's dad is bringing parts for making air powered rockets, the troop's going to bring out the trebuche as well as cook a cobbler, maybe setup a demo campsite.

See you all soon.

Getting Involved

posted Sep 23, 2013, 10:17 AM by Sam Byrd

Here are ways that you can get involved, if you don't find one that fits you just ask, I may just have not put it in a signup genius yet.

Pack Committee:
This is the group of folks that "make the pack go".  It's made up of the committee chair, treasurer, chartered organization rep, Cub Master, Asst. Cubmasters, Den Leaders, and as many parents as would like to be more involved.  We have one of the best packs in town.  This is in large part because of our parental involvement.  You are what makes this pack go, I just steer the ship.  Assistant Cubmaster slots are good slots for people who think they might want to be CubMaster someday (top secret tip - CubMaster is the easiest position in the pack if you've got good people doing all the work for ya).

Pack Meeting Snacks:

Special Event Committees:
These are some of the "big" events we do each year.  We need a group of folks to plan them.  These folks won't necessarily be the ones to put on the event, just to organize it.

December Party - we've gone ice skating the past 5 years or so

Pinewood Derby

Scout Sunday

Blue and Gold Banquet - our "graduation" banquet each May

Bike Rally - Roger's been itching to host a bike rally for 2 or 3 years now, let's make it a reality

T-Shirt Orders

posted Sep 10, 2013, 8:35 AM by Sam Byrd

If you missed last night we didn't get your T-Shirt order.  I need to know by tomorrow if you want one.  The pack is purchasing one for each kid that we've seen.  Parents if you would like one they are $8.
Sizes: Youth - XS, S, M, L, XL; Adult - S,M,L,XL,2X,3X,4X,5X
